Decorative Mirror
Mirrors are decorative articles. Here you will learn a technique to make your mirrors more decorative and original. The materials needed are a little complicated, but if you go to the correct store, you can buy the correct materials.
Materials needed: Glass and wood of the same shape, a mirror (smoller than the glass and wood), vitrail paint (or a painting for glass), glass marker or pen, adhesive varnish, golden paper, wood adhesive, putty (masilla).
1 - Make the draw of the chosen design on the front side of the glass with a glass’s pen or thin marker.
2 - Paint the back side of the glass with coloured glass’s painting (vitrail paint, for example). Leave some unpainted places.
3 - Once the painting is dry, varnish the back side of the glass with a transparent adhesive varnish. When the varnish is dry enaugh but a little sticky, you put the golden paper. Be careful! The golden paper is very thin, so it tears easily. If that happens don’t worry, you can refill the places with goden paper’s little pieces.
4 - You put some wood adhesive on the wood and glue the decorated glass on it (with the painted side on top).
5 - Then, glue the mirror in the correct place.
6 - Make a long and thin putty (masilla) cylinder and place it around the wood and make another and put it around the mirror. You can make some details while the putty isn’t dry enaugh. Then you can colour it. In this case, I coloured it with gold painting.

I hope you can do this craft. If you have any question, don’t hesitate to ask me. I’ll answer as soon as I can!
