Crafty family
I belong to a crafty family, that´s true. That´s a really big advantage for many reasons: first of all, you grown up watching other people making beautiful things with their hands and you think “I wanna make that too!”; that´s why you´re highly motivated, “I wanna learn how to make that”; after that, you start your slow learning process… luckily there´s always someone around you that helps with those impossible stitches or patterns, that were not so impossible at all. And the most important thing: you have always a granny or your mama making warm thing for you.
Here I want to show you some of the things that the ladies of the familiy had made for me.

My granny made this scarf, I love the color, I used it a lot last winter, it´s really warm.

In my country we call this PONCHO. This one is beautiful, the technique used is TELAR (you can see some pics at this link).

This is one of my fav sweaters, my mama made this one some years ago. To learn how to make the crochet hexagons click here. (Note: I wrote that pattern some time ago and my crochet language was not very “technical”; anyway, the explanation is understandable).
