Water Candles

We can combine paraffine with a very natural and pure element: the water. It’s a magic way of create new and incredible shapes. I’ll teach you how to do it. Good luck and enjoy it!

1) Dissolve the wax and divide it in 2. Stain (colour) 1 half and leave the other unstained (uncoloured).

2) When the paraffin is getting cold (but not completely hard), you’ll see a thin veil on the surface. Beat both halfs with a fork.

3) Cut a piece of aluminum paper, spread vaseline on the surface and give an irregular shape to the paper with your hands.

4) Put the coloured paraffine with a spoon on the aluminum paper and also some uncoloured paraffine.

5) When the paraffine is completely, take the paper away.

6) Put some water into a big container. You have to hold the paraffine shape with a hand over the water and with the other hand you have to dump part of the dissolved paraffine on the figure.

7) Inmediately, you introduce the paraffine shape in the water for some seconds: Magic shapes will appear!

- You may repeat step 6 and 7 with uncoloured paraffine one time and with coloured paraffine the other, until you consider that your creation is done.

8) When the parrafine shape is ready and dry, you make a hole in the middle with a knife. In that hole you have to put a candle. Heat the bottom of the candle and put it in the hole.

You have an exotic and useful candle base!!!
